Teeth & Tongue announces ‘Greatest Hurts’ Melbourne party and premieres new live video via The Music

Teeth

Teeth & Tongue is the music project of songwriter and instrumentalist Jess Cornelius. Over the course of four critically-acclaimed albums, Teeth & Tongue has gradually morphed from a solo project into a more collaborative ‘band-like’ affair, with long-time collaborators Marc Regueiro-McKelvie, Damian Sullivan and James Harvey. Their 2016 album Give Up On Your Health was named 3RRR Album of the Week and Double J Feature Album, and was nominated for a J Award and The Australian Music Prize.
Now, Jess Cornelius is heading to the USA to focus on a new ‘actually solo’ project under her own name, with material that is more stripped back, personal and lyrically direct. To say goodbye (for a while), Teeth & Tongue are throwing a farewell ‘Greatest Hurts’ party at the Gasometer on August 4th. They’ll be playing songs from all four Teeth & Tongue albums: Monobasic, Tambourine, Grids and Give Up On Your Health.

Joining them for the good times are Loose Tooth and Gregor, plus Venetian Blinds DJs (Phoebe Taylor and Liam Linney).

In addition, today Teeth & Tongue have premiered a live video for ‘Turn Turn Turn’ via The Music. The performance was filmed at the band’s Dot Dash session at Newmarket Studios earlier this year. Watch the video below.
